Reza Chemical completed its unbeaten run to the title, beating Sadafco 92-89 in Game 2 of their best-of-three series for the Inter-Company Non Rated A championship in the OFBL 5th Conference Evening Division at Timeout Sports Academy Gymnasium on Television St., Ghulail District on the outskirts of Jeddah.
Reza was too strong for Sadafco to dominate the entire second half, capitalizing on its speed with a run-and-gun game, high shooting percentage and formidable defense, which saw the eventual champion forcing turnovers from press, anticipating passes and converting fast break points every now and then.
Five players scored double digits headed by Reloj who netted 16 points, followed by
Abulencia with 28 points including 5 3-pointers, Gemino 13, Rosero 17 points and Abella 6 points as Reza won the championship via an 8-game sweep.
Nemitz Dangao and Gilbert Cutamura scored 22 and 20 points in a losing effort for Sadafco. Defensor and Poliquit added 12 and 10 points.
Reloj was selected as Most Valuable Players. Named to the mythical five team selection were Best Guards Rosero (Reza) and Cutamura (Sadafco), Best Forwards Abulencia (Reza) and Dangao and Best Center Abella (Reza).
In the other Friday Evening Division championship, Patriots roared past Grain Silos with a 26-6 run in the deciding quarter to pull off an 96-76 victory that also gave Patriots a sweep of their Inter-Company Non-Rated B championship series.
Patriots never look back as the combination of Cutamura, Roque and Dayrit played effective defense to turn the odds in their favor.
The quartet of Cutamura, Dayrit, Roque and Razaon led the Patriots offense with 26, 20, 15 and 14 points in that order. They had significant support from Carazig, Angeles and Panguiringan who all had 11 points.
Cutamura grabbed the MVP honors. In the mythical five selection were Best Guards Razon (Patriots) and Bautista (Grain Silos), Best Forwards Roque (Patriots) and Aries Macaspac (Grain Silos) and Best Center Dayrit.
Bahra Cable forced a winner-take-all Game 3 in the Inter-Company Bonafide B after beating Rabya in the second game of the best-of-three championship series. Rabya took the first game by 80-79 in overtime.
Meanwhile, the championship games started in the Friday Morning League with Yummy Yummy taking the opener against Red Tag 95-84.

ating Alwajan 95-84. Castro led Saudi Oger with 18 points , Libril added 17 , Jayson 15 while Dagos and Barera combined for 12 points. Bedizon 24 points, Cabasa 13 and Balmores 10 were the scorers at Alwajan.
Also, Jamjoom Pharma took the first game of the Rated C Division championship, crushing Toyota 80-66 victory. Jamjoom had Abulencia on 27 points, Bustamante 15, Abella 10 and Rosero 9 points. For Toyota Dorado tallied 20 points while LLamado contributed 10 points.
